We are delighted that you are considering a Wedding Blessing within the Anglican Chaplaincy of St Vincent’s. Our churches offer a sacred, beautiful setting for your commitment to one another before God.
Ceremonies are preferred within our chaplaincy churches. Should you wish for an alternative location, it must be approved by the Chaplain and represent a dignified setting for worship.
Upon initial enquiry, provisional dates can be held for up to 21 days. A non-refundable deposit of €120 is required to confirm the booking.
In the eyes of the law, you must be legally married prior to the Wedding Blessing. You will need to provide a copy of your Civil Marriage Certificate to the Chaplain before the ceremony can proceed.
Unless otherwise agreed with the Chaplain, we offer the full Church of England Marriage ceremony. Couples must, however, be married in law prior to the date of the ceremony and the certificate must be shown to the Chaplain before the wedding date. Any alternative church/ location to the 3 chaplaincy churches must be approved by the Chaplain. However, the fee of €695 will still apply. Any costs imposed by the alternative church/ location and the booking arrangements for the wedding and rehearsal are the responsibility of the couple or their wedding planner.
Note: The final balance is due 14 days before the rehearsal.
