Safeguarding Policy Statement

The Chaplaincy of St Vincent’s Algarve is dedicated to providing a safe environment for everyone who participates in our worship and community activities. We fully adopt and implement the Church of England’s safeguarding policies and procedures.

Reporting Procedure

If you have immediate concerns about a child or adult’s safety, please take action now. Our operational hours are 9 am to 5 pm UK time, Monday to Friday. Outside these hours, please contact Thirtyone:eight at +44 (0) 303 003 1111 or local emergency services.

Identify & Listen

Stay calm and listen without judgment. If a person is in immediate danger, call 112.

Record & Complete

Download and complete the Diocese Safeguarding Referral Form.

Email the Team

Send the completed form to the Diocesan team at europe.safeguarding@churchofengland.org. They respond within 48 hours.
